EXTENSION PRIVACY
Deal Scout respects the page you opened.
The extension exists for one purpose: sending a Facebook Marketplace listing that you choose to your connected Deal Scout workspace for deal analysis.
What it collects
When you click Analyze, Deal Scout may collect the listing URL, title, displayed price, visible listing text and details, the first visible product image, and an optional listing-panel screenshot. Optional URL noticing is off by default and, when enabled, sends only minimal listing information for pages you open.
What it does not collect
Deal Scout does not collect your Facebook password, authentication cookies, private account credentials, payment information, or unrelated browsing history. It does not remotely log in to Facebook.
How the information is used
Captured listing information is stored in the connected Deal Scout cloud workspace and may be sent to the workspace's configured AI provider for product identification, public-price research, and deal analysis. It is not sold or used for advertising.
Access and retention
Listings remain in the connected workspace so its authorized users can review their deal history. Access is controlled by the workspace owner. Contact the person who provided your workspace access if you need a captured listing removed.
